CEPI are a global alliance coordinating the development of vaccines against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, and are funded by public, private and philanthropic organisations including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Norwegian Government. They needed a punchy new identity which would give credibility to their hugely significant global project.
Our concept was based on the simplest geometric form – the circle – symbolising a global coalition, with unity and totality at its core. The circle has the freedom to grow and reform in infinite different ways, allowing for an ever-changing palette of graphics. This fluidity is anchored by bold colour scheme, inspired by a reimagined Norwegian flag.
